I provide flexible support for small businesses, makers, vendors, retailers, and busy individuals who need help managing the tasks that keep life and business moving.

What types of clients do you work with?

I work with small business owners, artists, makers, vendors, retailers, entrepreneurs, and busy individuals who could use an extra set of reliable hands.

Do you offer virtual and in-person services?

Yes! Services are available both virtually and in person, depending on your needs and location.

Is there a minimum booking?

Yes. A minimum booking of 2 hours applies to all services.

Do you offer recurring support?

Absolutely. Many clients benefit from weekly or recurring support, and preferred rates may be available for recurring bookings.

What areas do you serve?

In-person services are currently available throughout Southeastern Michigan. Virtual services are available from almost anywhere with internet access.

Can you help with errands and personal tasks?

Yes. I offer concierge and personal support services such as appointment scheduling, grocery pickup, organizational assistance, body doubling, and other practical life tasks.

Sometimes adulting is a full-time job all by itself.

Can you help with my business?

Absolutely. Operational Support services may include administrative assistance, customer communication, email management, SOP and documentation support, vendor and event assistance, retail support, scheduling and organization, and general business operations support.

Are you insured?

Yes, Obsidian & Rose is fully insured.

Do you work evenings, holidays, or outside normal business hours?

Due to the busy weekend centered businesses I work with standard operating hours are Friday-Monday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Extended hours, holiday support, and special event assistance may be available depending on scheduling and project needs.

Do you work around pets?

Absolutely. Pet-friendly homes and businesses are welcome. As long as your furry supervisor approves of my presence, we should get along just fine.

Do you offer discounts?

Preferred rates may be available for recurring clients and larger scheduled blocks of support.

What if I have a very cute pet?

Please stop trying to exploit known weaknesses in management.

Will my dog be allowed to supervise?

Yes. Whether they are qualified to do so is another matter.

Do you judge messy homes, cluttered offices, or unfinished projects?

Not even a little. Life gets busy. Businesses get busy. Things pile up. My role is to help make things easier, not make anyone feel bad about needing support.

What if I don't know exactly what kind of help I need?

That's completely okay. Many clients know they're overwhelmed long before they've identified the exact solution.

We'll talk through what's causing the most stress and determine how I can best support you.

What if I only need help once?

That's perfectly fine. While many clients book recurring support, one-time projects, event assistance, coverage shifts, and occasional help are always welcome.

Sometimes you just need an extra set of hands for a day.
